Job summary

Six by Nico in Cardiff is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cocktails, spirits and wines, with proven experience in a busy, high-end setting.

The role focuses on maintaining product knowledge, training newer staff, and delivering excellent service for drinks and food while upholding Cycle of Service standards. Opportunities for progression exist within our Wales sites.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year bartending experience.
• Sound knowledge of cocktails, spirits and wines.
• Experience in a busy, high-end environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong product knowledge and keep skills up to date.
• Support, train and act as a role model to new team members.
• Serve all drinks and food orders in the bar and restaurant according to service standards and timings.
• Order, receive, store, control and count beverage stocks for Bar and Restaurant.
• Administer stocks including invoice collation, price checking and data entry.

The role

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Bartender to join the team at Six by Nico.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bartenders to join us. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate Bartender, with sound knowledge of cocktails, spirits and Wines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining skills and product knowledge,
• Supporting, training and acting as a role model to new members of the team
• Service of all drink and food orders in the public bars according to the Cycle of Service standards and timings
• Ordering, receiving, storing, controlling and counting of all Beverage stocks for Bar and Restaurant.
• Administration of all stocks including, invoice collation, price checking and data entry of stock.

Preferred Requirements

• At least 6 months -1 year previous experience in Bartending
• Enthusiasm for all things Bartending
• Be confident in a busy, high end environment.
