Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a bartender to join our team in a busy hotel environment. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and meet experienced team members to help you grow within the company.

We promote from within and offer a friendly team atmosphere with opportunities for advancement as you develop your skills in food and beverage service.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a busy food and beverage operation.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
