Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a proactive Bartender in Glasgow to greet regular guests by name, provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and drinks, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor during all service periods.

Ideal candidates will have experience in busy hotel-based F&B environments, fluent English, and a willingness to learn. Micros experience is preferred, with a strong focus on upselling and delivering excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food, all beverages and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
