Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Bar Back (Part-Time) for Refuge in Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Manchester. You will keep the bar stocked, assist bartenders and support the wider F&B team to deliver timely service in a vibrant hotel setting.

The role requires 16 hours per week across various shifts (weekends/evenings). Training will be provided; prior bar/restaurant experience is a bonus, and a guest-focused, energetic attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Availability to work 16 hours per week across a variety of shifts (weekend and evening availability essential).
• Experience in a busy Restaurant, Bar or Hotel is a bonus, but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Passion for providing excellent guest service and interacting with guests for a personalised experience.
• Energetic, hands-on, fast-paced role with a keen eye for cleanliness and organisation.
• Willing to learn and work as part of the wider Hotel team.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked, clean and running smoothly – restocking ice, glassware, beers, wines and spirits; prepping garnishes.
• Support bartenders so they can focus on creating cocktails for guests.
• Assist the wider F&B team to provide timely service.

We are looking for an authentic and driven Bar Back (Part-Time) to join us at Refuge in Kimpton Clocktower Hotel!

Your main duties and responsibilities will be keeping the bar stocked, clean and running smoothly - restocking ice, glassware, Beers, Wines and Spirits, prepping garnishes and supporting our Bartenders so they can focus on creating unique and exciting cocktails for our guests. You will also be assisting the wider F&B team to provide timely service!
