Grind is a London-based coffee company known for its espresso drinks and vibrant night culture. We are seeking energetic night owls to join the Grind Crew in our Central London locations as a barback, supporting the bar team and contributing to a buzzing atmosphere with fast service and top espresso martinis.

You will help ensure the bar runs smoothly, stay organised under pressure, and communicate effectively with colleagues to deliver great guest experiences in a busy setting.

Grind is a coffee company that lives in London. Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, we've expanded across London with cafés, coffee trucks and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery.

A bit about the role.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate and aspiring bartender, looking to join and progress in a fast-paced restaurant group. Evenings at Grind offer a variety of classics, coffee cocktails and guest cocktails. We’re all about creating a buzzing atmosphere by turning up the tunes, dimming the lights and serving the best espresso martini in London. We are looking for energetic night owls to join the Grind Crew in any of our Central London Locations!

As a barback, you will be responsible for supporting the bar team in ensuring they have everything they need to operate the bar. You will need strong organisational skills, work well under pressure and enjoy working in a very busy work environment. If you’re looking to start your bartending career but don’t yet have any experience, this is a great opportunity for you!

Grind run a tronc scheme, which is managed by an independent tronc master. Tronc payments are variable and not guaranteed, this number is likely to fluctuate depending on site performance and individual eligibility.
