Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Bar Manager to lead a world-class beverage operation at our prestigious City of Westminster club. You will oversee service delivery, staff development, product selection, and financial performance to ensure a vibrant, profitable bar that reflects the club’s quality and atmosphere.

You will manage, develop and inspire your team, collaborating with Food & Beverage and Events to deliver signature cocktails and events to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Hospitable and customer‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Calm under pressure and proactive problem solver.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional service standards by developing and refining systems for members, guests and staff.
• Lead engaging training sessions on Soho House beverage programs through storytelling and demos.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest interactions and brand consistency.
• Support recruitment by identifying talent needs and participating in interviews.
• Ensure maximum revenue from all sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Lead Mystery Shopper reports and staff development initiatives.
• Participate in management meetings and decision making as a team member.
• Delegate tasks and determine beverage methods to staff during shifts.
• Uphold appearance, safety, and professionalism standards across the team.
