Job summary

St. James’s Hotel and Club in Mayfair invites an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar and contribute to the wider Food & Beverage operation. You will be visible on the floor, drive exceptional guest experiences and ensure service excellence across the bar and events.

We seek a professional with a passion for hospitality, strong knowledge of cocktails and premium beverages, and the ability to manage stock and labour while upholding the hotel's boutique luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Bar Manager or senior bar supervisor in luxury hotel or premium venue.
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Strong leadership and hands-on service during peak times.
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines and premium beverages.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bar operations and deliver 5-star guest experiences.
• Lead and develop the F&B team while staying hands-on on floor.
• Oversee cocktail, wine, spirit and beer service with quality control.
• Collaborate with the F&B Ops Manager on standards and objectives.
• Monitor stock, wastage and costs; ensure cleanliness and compliance.
