Job summary

Heartwood Collection in Greater London is seeking a Bar Manager to lead a busy bar operation across our cosy pubs and brasseries. You will inspire the team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and showcase a deep knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beers.

You’ll manage stock, ordering, cellar operations and drive beverage sales, while mentoring staff and supporting the General Manager to run the business smoothly. We offer a competitive package with TRONC and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passionate and vibrant personality with welcoming hospitality.
• Genuine passion for drinks with knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beers.
• Confident in leading a busy bar operation and training a high-performing team.
• Commercial awareness with stock management and wastage control.
• 2–3 years in Bar Manager, Assistant Manager or senior bar leadership role.

About You:

• Passionate and vibrant personality, a real people person who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional hospitality and making every guest experience memorable.
• A genuine passion for drinks, with excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beers, and the confidence to share that knowledge with guests and inspire your team.
• Confident in leading a busy bar operation, delivering outstanding service standards and training, motivating and developing a high-performing bar team.
• Commercially aware, with experience in stock management, ordering, cellar management, GP margins, wastage control and driving beverage sales and profitability.
• Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a Bar Manager, Assistant Manager or senior bar leadership role within a quality pub, restaurant or branded hospitality environment, with a hands-on approach and the ability to support the General Manager in the successful running of the business.
