Heartwood Collection is seeking a Bar Manager to lead a welcoming bar team across its cosy pubs and brasseries. You will share passion for drinks, deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure memorable guest experiences across our venues.

The role offers a flexible 30–48 hour contract, with a competitive salary package including TRONC, bespoke training through the Stepping Stones programme, and access to benefits such as EarlyPay and staff discounts.

Competenze

• A genuine passion for drinks with knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beers.
• Ability to lead a busy bar operation, train and develop a high-performing team.
• Commercial awareness with stock management, ordering, cellar management and wastage control.
• 2–3 years in Bar Manager or senior bar leadership in a quality hospitality environment.

Bar Manager

On Target Earnings £16 – £16.50 per hour Including TRONC*

(Basic from £13.02 plus expected TRONC £3 – £3.50 per hour)

About You:

• Passionate and vibrant personality, a real people person who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional hospitality and making every guest experience memorable.
• A genuine passion for drinks, with excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beers, and the confidence to share that knowledge with guests and inspire your team.
• Confident in leading a busy bar operation, delivering outstanding service standards and training, motivating and developing a high-performing bar team.
• Commercially aware, with experience in stock management, ordering, cellar management, GP margins, wastage control and driving beverage sales and profitability.
• Ideally 2–3 years' experience in a Bar Manager, Assistant Manager or senior bar leadership role within a quality pub, restaurant or branded hospitality environment, with a hands‑on approach and the ability to support the General Manager in the successful running of the business.
