Job summary

The Malone Hotel is seeking a Bar Assistant for its Greyhound pub in The Malone area, offering a warm Belfast welcome and a busy, customer-focused bar environment. You will deliver a great experience, prepare beverages and/or serve food, and work with a friendly team.

Previous bar experience is preferred but full training will be provided. You’ll thrive on delivering high service standards, upholding responsible service, and contributing to a lively, guest-focused atmosphere at our family-owned

Qualifications

• A good level of spoken English is essential.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote house drinks to drive revenue.
• Provide top-tier customer service with a people-first approach.
• Prepare beverages and serve food following standard recipes.
• Coordinate bar and restaurant service for seamless guest experience.
• Ensure responsible service and check IDs when required.
• Follow safety protocols and report incidents as needed.
