Job summary

The Malone in Belfast is seeking a Bar Assistant to join our welcoming bar team at The Greyhound pub. You will deliver a warm, memorable experience for guests, prepare beverages, and work closely with our team to ensure smooth bar operations.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential as thorough training is provided. We promote a fun, family atmosphere and a strong people-first approach in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Good level of spoken English is essential.
• Experience in bar or customer service is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the bar with a warm hello and promote house drinks.
• Prepare beverages and/or serve food to guests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate drinks with the kitchen for bar/lounge guests as needed.
• Monitor alcohol service and check IDs to ensure responsible service.
• Handle payments and balance cash drawer at the end of shift.
• Follow safety procedures and report any incidents to the supervisor on duty.
