Job summary

The Grand Hotel, Birmingham is seeking a part-time Bar Back to support the Madeleine bar team. You will help ensure the bar stays stocked and ready, enabling bartenders to serve guests smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include keeping areas clean, completing opening/closing checks, and assisting with food delivery while considering allergens and guest requests. This role offers flexible hours across weekdays, weekends, and holidays to suit business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with glassware and stock
• Keep the bar and back of house areas clean, organised and always well maintained
• Complete opening and closing checklists
• Delivering food and drinks to the guest, paying particular attention to allergens, dietary requirements, special requests and occasions
• Work closely with the bar, floor, kitchen, hosts and wider hotel staff to ensure best possible service to all guests
