Job summary

The Pembroke, a new exclusive private members' club in Belgravia, is seeking a dedicated Barback to support bar operations and ensure a seamless guest experience. You will help prepare beverages, keep the bar stocked, and uphold the club’s high standards of discretion and service.

Ideal candidates are experienced in hospitality support, thrive under pressure, and show strong teamwork, communication, and a can-do attitude. Evening and weekend flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality support role preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organisation.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collectively.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders in the preparation and service of beverages
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including bar back and storage spaces
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries
• Collect and wash glassware promptly to ensure continuous availability
• Assist in completing bar opening and closing procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the bar team
• Upload the club’s standards of discretion, professionalism, and member service
• Completing any extra tasks directed from the bar team to upkeep the successful operations of the bar department

ROLE OVERVIEW

To further elevate and enhance our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and details-oriented Barback to contribute and deliver on the club’s success, providing exceptional experiences for our members.
