Job summary

Crowne Plaza Marlow is seeking a dynamic Bar Assistant to join our Bar team. You will deliver warm hospitality with a focus on guest satisfaction and upsell opportunities in a contemporary, lakeside setting.

Typical duties include knowledge of bar products, stock and cleanliness, safe operation of equipment, handling queries, and supporting Hygiene Audits to maintain high standards. You will present yourself in full uniform and uphold company values.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preparation and service of all products within the food and beverage department.
• Ability to stock the bar and maintain service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of food and beverage areas at all times.
• Proactively upsell and maximise commercial opportunities in the department.
• Suggest ideas for department and hotel improvement/innovation.
• Ensure equipment is used safely and in line with guidelines and risk assessments.
• Handle guest queries or concerns professionally.
• Support Hygiene Audits to maintain high environmental standards.
• Present yourself well-groomed in full uniform per company standards.

Crowne Plaza Marlow is a contemporary 4-star lakeside hotel offering stylish bedrooms, the AA Rosette Glaze Restaurant, Aqua Bar & Conservatory, and the Quad Wellness & Spa with pool, gym, and treatment facilities.
