Job summary

Loungers is hiring Front of House Team Members for Portivo Lounge on a temporary basis. Experience isn’t essential; we’ll teach you the rest in a friendly hospitality environment.

Join our Bar & Waiting team where you’ll welcome guests, serve food and drinks to spec, and ensure every guest leaves happy. This seasonal role may lead to a longer-term opportunity, with tips and benefits starting from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or retail is a bonus but not required.
• You are friendly, adaptable and ready to learn on the job.
• Strong communication helps you read customers and deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver warm hospitality from entry.
• Serve food to a high standard and ensure correct presentation.
• Prepare and serve drinks, including coffees and cocktails.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean and organized throughout shifts.
• Handle payments accurately and answer customer queries confidently.

We're hiring Front of House Team Members to join Portivo Lounge, on a temporary basis. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. Offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food every shift, and 50% off food & drinks, this a great opportunity for a waiter, waitress, barista, bartender, and more looking for temporary work. This is a temporary seasonal position with a set end date. Ideal if you’re just looking for something for the season. And if we’re a great fit for each other? There might be the option to stay on.

What You'll Do

• Welcoming customers and delivering warm, genuine hospitality from the moment they walk in
• Serving food to a high standard, making sure every dish lands just right
• Preparing and serving drinks to spec — coffees, cocktails, and everything in between
• Keeping the bar prepped, stocked, and clean throughout every shift
• Handling payments accurately and answering customer queries, including allergen questions, with confidence
