The Role
As Banqueting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily operations of the Conference and Banqueting areas.
  • Maintaining open communication between the operational and sales teams.
  • Providing prompt, attentive service to guests.
  • Ensuring front of house areas are well presented and maintenance is up-to-date.
  • Conducting stock takes and inventory, liaising with guests, and handling complaints.
  • Encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and a positive working environment.
  • Completing daily reports and departmental banking.
  • Producing staff rotas aligned with business needs and budgets.
  • Adhering to procedures regarding costs, wastage, security, and stock control.
  • Meeting all company standards and procedures.

The Person
Ideal candidates will have:

  • Food safety certification.
  • Personal Licence.
  • Experience as Master of Ceremonies.
  • Similar role experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Availability for shifts, including evenings and weekends.
