Job summary

Ogier in Jersey is seeking a Paralegal to support our Banking & Finance team, working closely with lawyers on a variety of matters for diverse clients. You will handle document drafting, client communications, and file management while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• If you've got previous Legal experience through a paralegal role, or suitable academic credentials (LPC/GDL/LLB).
• You’ll need to be tech savvy with high attention to detail and an organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Undertake work in support of a team of fee earners, meeting an agreed target chargeable hours.
• Assist the team with team-specific financials/matter management (budgets, WIP, aged debt reporting).
• Undertake various searches and draft/amend legal documents as requested by fee-earners.
• Serve as primary point of contact between fee-earners and clients.
• Ensure new client matters are set up in client accounting and maintain client records.
