Job summary

Bedell Cristin is seeking a Paralegal for its International Private Client team in Jersey. The role supports partners and associates with research, drafting, and matter administration while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of client work.

You will coordinate CDD, billing support, CRM hygiene and business development logistics, developing strong client relationships and contributing to efficient practice management.

Qualifications

• Some previous experience in a legal environment, ideally in a similar role.
• Strong IT skills and confidence working across matter management/document systems (document management experience is useful).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn about Jersey law.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarise legal documents and diligence packs.
• Conduct legal research and produce notes for review with sources.
• Assist with drafting documents using precedents and templates.
• Check documents for accuracy, dates, names and cross-references.
• Assist in preparing reports and correspondence for clients and advisers.
• Attend client meetings/calls to capture notes and circulate action points.
