Job summary

Arbuthnot Latham is seeking an IT professional to support Banking 3rd party apps and systems, fix incidents, and assist design of new solutions under supervision. You’ll help ensure service health, implement monitoring, and coach other IT teams while aligning with FCA/PRA conduct rules.

The role emphasizes incident control, ITIL governance, and secure operations within a hybrid working model including one day a week remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Financial Services organisation.
• Knowledge of banking platforms and security/assurance.
• Experience with WebLogic and Oracle DB, Java and Linux apps.
• Vendor interaction to resolve issues within SLA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incidents/requests are processed within SLA.
• Identify risks and document mitigations.
• Maintain ISO27001, PCI DSS compliance and run books.
• Develop proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Coach other IT teams and enable knowledge transfer.
• Remediate vulnerabilities from pen tests and scans.
• Provide operations support for critical banking tech.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks.
