ENL Legal Recruitment is assisting a Birmingham-based international law firm in recruiting a Banking & Finance Solicitor. The role covers non-contentious finance, including acquisition and leveraged finance, corporate lending, bilateral and syndicated facilities, and related documentation.

You will work closely with partners, handling diverse transactions, building client relationships and contributing to business development within a supportive training environment.

Qualifications

• Applications from Banking & Finance Solicitors with 3–10 years' PQE and non-contentious banking experience.
• Strong technical ability, commercial awareness and proactive client management.

Responsabilités

• Handle non-contentious banking matters in acquisition, leveraged, corporate lending and syndicated facilities.
• Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements.
• Manage asset-backed and receivables finance matters.
• Involve in project finance and cross-border financing transactions.
• Engage in ISDA documentation and related credit support issues.
• Take ownership of significant transactions and collaborate with clients and teams.

Banking & Finance Solicitor | Birmingham | 3–10 PQE | International Law Firm

The Role

Working closely with experienced Banking & Finance Partners, you will handle a varied non-contentious banking caseload, including:

• Acquisition finance and leveraged finance transactions.
• Corporate lending, acting for both lenders and borrowers.
• Bilateral and syndicated lending arrangements.
• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements.
• Asset-backed and receivables finance.
• Project finance and cross-border financing transactions.
• ISDA documentation, hedging arrangements and associated credit support matters.

You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for significant transactions, work closely with clients and collaborate with colleagues across the firm's wider practice areas.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Banking & Finance Solicitors with between 3 and 10 years' PQE and experience in non-contentious banking work. You will have strong technical ability, a sound understanding of the commercial aspects of finance transactions and the confidence to manage matters with an appropriate level of autonomy.

Commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client relationship management are essential. An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practice will also be important.
