Job summary

The Banking & Finance team at eNL Legal in Birmingham is seeking a Solicitor with 3–10 years' PQE to manage a varied non-contentious banking caseload, including acquisition finance, corporate lending, and project finance, with cross-border exposure.

You will work closely with clients and colleagues across the firm, with training, mentoring and business development opportunities to progress your career.

The Role

Working closely with experienced Banking & Finance Partners, you will handle a varied non-contentious banking caseload, including:

• Acquisition finance and leveraged finance transactions.
• Corporate lending, acting for both lenders and borrowers.
• Bilateral and syndicated lending arrangements.
• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements.
• Asset-backed and receivables finance.
• Project finance and cross-border financing transactions.
• ISDA documentation, hedging arrangements and associated credit support matters.

You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for significant transactions, work closely with clients and collaborate with colleagues across the firm's wider practice areas.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Banking & Finance Solicitors with between 3 and 10 years' PQE and experience in non-contentious banking work. You will have strong technical ability, a sound understanding of the commercial aspects of finance transactions and the confidence to manage matters with an appropriate level of autonomy.

Commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client relationship management are essential. An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practice will also be important.
