Job summary

Abbeyfield Living Society in Nottingham is seeking relief staff to complement our Sheltered Housing team. The role combines cooking and resident support to help deliver warm, safe, and well-maintained home for older people.

This bank, zero-hours contract offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a real difference. You will prepare meals, assist residents, and help with housekeeping while adhering to care standards.

• Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and serve home-cooked meals for residents, while maintaining food stock and ensuring proper rotation.
• Resident Support: Be the first point of contact for residents, offering a friendly face and support with their daily needs.
• Housekeeping: Ensure communal areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for all.

Contract:Bank (Zero Hours)
Pay Rate: £12.71 - 13.62

About the Role

As relief staff,you will take on a dual role, combining cooking and resident support responsibilities. You will directly impact the wellbeing of our residents by providing the support and care they need in a safe, nurturing environment.
