Job summary

The Caring Homes Group is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator for Castleview, Peel, at £12.86 per hour. You will plan and run a diverse programme of activities to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs, organising daily, weekly and monthly events across crafts, music therapy and fitness.

You will work with care staff to identify needs, coordinate with volunteers and external entertainers, and ensure safety and inclusivity in all activities, contributing to a warm, supportive home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a care home or community setting is highly desirable.
• Background in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time management skills are important.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Creativity and a passion for improving the lives of others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to activities and events.
