Bank Cleaner/Housekeeper | Theatre | Havant, Hampshire | Salary - £12.05 per hour | Evening | Flexible working

Spire Portsmouth Hospital is seeking a dedicated and motivated Housekeeper/Cleaner to join the theatre team on a bank contract covering evenings.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready and set to the correct layout as needed.
• Clean and maintain bedrooms, offices, public areas, sterile services department, and public toilets within the hospital.
• Work closely with clinical staff to meet the varying needs of the hospital.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations, including COSHH.
• Perform any other duties reasonably within the scope of the role.

Who we're looking for:

• Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
• No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided.
• Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff and patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of working on own initiative with a methodical approach.
• Flexible to work various shift patterns (early mornings, days, evenings) across Monday to Sunday.
