Spire Bushey Hospital is seeking a dedicated Theatre Assistant to join the busy Operating Theatre team on a flexible working contract. You will support Nurses and Consultants during procedures, assist within theatres, and help prepare equipment while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and patient care.

The role offers bank/ flexible working with weekly pay, and opportunities for development within Spire’s private hospital network.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent required.
• Care Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous theatre experience desirable.

Bank Theatre Assistant | Theatre Department | Spire Bushey Hospital | Private Hospital | Bank / Flexible working | £14.13 per hour Spire Bushey Hospital is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Theatre Assistant to join our busy Operating Theatre team on a flexible working contract. Spire Bushey Hospital forms part of a 4 site portfolio, and is supported by and works alongside Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre, Elstree Cancer Centre and Spire Pathology Centre – based on Centennial Park in Elstree - just 5 minutes from the main hospital site.

Duties and responsibilities (not limited):

• Supporting Nurses and Consultants during surgical procedures.
• Assisting Scrub Nurses within operating theatres.
• Supporting patients within the anaesthetic room.
• Safely transporting patients to and from theatre and wards.
• Opening sterile packs and preparing equipment for procedures.
• Preparing, checking and handling surgical instruments.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention and control.
• Contributing to a safe, efficient and high-quality theatre environment.
• Providing reassurance and support to patients throughout their theatre experience.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate or equivalent.
• Previous theatre experience (desirable)
