Job summary

Spire Alexandra Hospital, part of Spire Healthcare Group, is seeking a caring Theatre Assistant to join our busy operating theatre team on a flexible bank basis. You will support nurses and practitioners, help care for patients in the anaesthetic room, and ensure equipment is prepared and sterile for procedures.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or Care Certificate or equivalent.
• Previous Healthcare Assistant experience, ideally in a theatre setting.

Bank Theatre Assistant | Operating Theatres | Private Hospital

Spire Alexandra Hospital is seeking a caring and motivated Theatre Assistant to join our friendly operating theatre team on a flexible bank basis.

In this role, you'll work closely with Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners and Consultants to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical pathway. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare support experience who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced theatre environment.

At Spire Alexandra Hospital, we provide outstanding care to patients across Medway, Kent and the South East. Our modern facilities include two fully equipped operating theatres and an extended recovery unit supported by 24-hour care.

Key Responsibilities
