Qualifications

  • A patient, empathetic mindset.
  • Willingness to complete health and social care related training (moving and handling, safeguarding, POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT) and general safety protocols.
  • Comfort with providing intimate/personal care as needed.
  • Be within reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate to the Brighton & Hove area.
  • Enhanced DBS check will be paid for by Southdown.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients to access their local community and activities.
  • Assist with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning and personal care to promote independence.
  • Encourage clients to lead active, fulfilling lives and build confidence.
  • Contribute to a compassionate, stable caregiving environment within Clarendon Villas.
