Job summary

Compass Children’s Homes is seeking Bank Support Workers to help children in care with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach. No prior experience required; full induction and ongoing training are provided.

You will build positive relationships, support educational activities, and help set routines and boundaries. A valid manual driving licence is preferred. £60 per sleep-in, flexible patterns, and strong supervision are offered.

Qualifications

• Is 22 years of age or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with others.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Can remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children and young people in care, building positive relationships and safeguarding.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some may require high levels of supervision and support.
• Assist with the care of children and young people, supporting them in activities, hobbies and educational pursuits.
• Create timetables and set boundaries and expectations for the children.
