Job summary

Compass Community Limited is seeking a Bank Support Worker to help care for children in our residential homes in Tudhoe. You will build positive relationships with young people in care and support them in daily activities under supervision.

No prior experience is required; a comprehensive induction and ongoing training will be provided. A manual driving licence is required, and you will work in a flexible, supportive environment aimed at long-term positive developmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• Is 22 years of age or above to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Is caring, compassionate and able to build relationships with others.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Can remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children in care, creating positive relationships and safeguarding.
• Meet a variety of children, including those requiring higher supervision and support.
• Assist with care of children and young people, supporting activities, education and hobbies.
• Create timetables, set boundaries and maintain consistent organisation.
