Job Advert Location Description

The Bank Support Worker role:

To provide the highest standard of person-centred support and care to the people who use our service, maintaining dignity and respect, enabling them to lead as independent lives as possible and realise their potential whilst ensuring own actions and behaviour comply with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring that service users' personal needs are met, including personal care, participation in activities, and support with daily living tasks.
2. Supporting service users in achieving their outcomes in their preferred way.
3. Completing daily administration, including updating person-centred support & care plans, updating charts, and maintaining accurate daily notes.
4. Maintaining professional relationships and developing rapport with service users, their families, colleagues, visitors, and other stakeholders.
5. Adhering to policies and procedures to contribute to safety, security, and confidentiality standards.
6. Undertaking keyworking responsibilities, supporting individuals to plan goals and personal outcomes, and ensuring these are documented and reviewed.

Requirements:

The role requires a flexible and innovative approach, supporting service users in decision-making, promoting choice and involvement at all times. The candidate should present the service positively and proactively suggest improvements.
