We are currently recruiting for Female BANK Support Workers for our beautiful brand new service based in Dronfield postcode area S18.
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support, and in return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need and will help you develop if you wish to grow your career with us.
You will support 2 females and 1 male with learning disabilities transitioning from residential care to a supported living setting in Dronfield. You will support with the transition to ensure a positive experience. The role involves working on a rota basis, including day shifts, night shifts, and sleep-ins, depending on availability. The people supported enjoy outings like shopping and bowling. Building positive, trusting relationships is essential as families are important to the individuals.
Our ideal candidate shares our values: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, including those with personal experience of support roles, or no experience at all. Key qualities include patience, empathy, compassion, a strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, determination, problem-solving skills, and resilience.
