Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support.
We have almost 200 services across England, supported by nearly 3,500 staff and volunteers. Annually, our services support around 125,000 people.
Bringing two large organizations together is a significant task, and it will take time to fully integrate our systems, processes, and approaches. Currently, jobs are still branded as ‘Humankind’. Next year, we will fully integrate our recruitment systems, but for now, they remain separate.
The post holder will work as part of a wider team to support individuals or families, aiming to resettle clients into new, more permanent accommodation quickly and successfully.
This role involves providing comprehensive support for operations across various services in Manchester, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Responsibilities include assisting with tasks, handling client inquiries, supporting internal teams, managing records, resolving issues, and contributing to operational effectiveness. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Building strong working relationships with accommodation and community support stakeholders is essential, especially with current relevant support providers. The post holder should be knowledgeable about clients with complex needs and confident working within a developing service scope.
Bank workers will accrue holiday entitlement based on hours worked. This holiday pay is included in their hourly rate and paid alongside wages, ensuring proportional holiday pay.
