Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and are proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support, and in return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop if you decide to grow your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Who will you be supporting?

  • We are all very mobile and enjoy getting out and about as much as we can; we all have different levels of support required to live independently in our accommodation.
  • We are a mental health service that provides a person-centric care planning approach and support.
  • Some of us have complex care needs and challenging behaviors.
  • All our staff have been trained to the highest standards to enable them to deliver person-centered support. Staff also have access to ongoing training to enhance their knowledge and the support we provide.

What is important to us?

  • We love to get out and about in the local community, attending community-based services.
  • We enjoy meeting in our communal room, doing arts and crafts, cooking, and themed parties (e.g., Halloween, Christmas).
  • We like to have meetings where tenants can voice any issues.
  • We love to have fun, do gardening in the summer, and sit out in the garden.

Our values: We recognize it takes a special person to work in social care. We are passionate about recruiting individuals based on their values and recruit from all walks of life, whether they have experience or not, including those with lived experiences or no prior experience at all.
