Independent Living Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Bank Support Worker to provide 1:1 care for a gentleman in his 50s with an acquired brain injury living in Bovey Tracey area near Newton Abbot. You will assist with problem-solving, community access, safety, and promoting independence, wellbeing and physical health.
The role requires full driving licence, reliability and excellent communication. Training will be provided, including the Care Certificate, with ongoing support from a
Pay Rate 1: £16.67 per hour Days, 7am -11pm Pay Rate 2: £13.78 per hour, Sleeping nights.

Hours: Bank Hours available to cover 24.25 hour shifts usually from 7pm to 7:15pm (sleeping nights included)

He is largely independent with personal care; however, he requires support with problem-solving, accessing the community, maintaining his safety, and promoting his independence, emotional wellbeing, and physical health.

Our Case Managers work closely with our Clients, and we carry out all the recruitment processes on behalf of our Clients; and will support you, from your initial telephone interview right through to arranging employer interviews, trial shifts and placement.
If you are successfully recruited, you will be employed directly byour client or their Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection. However, ILS will manage your day-to-day employment, providing you with the support you need to carry out your role. Working as a Carer or Support Worker for an ILS client means that you will have a dedicated Case Manager to oversee your client's care needs.
