Job summary

Select Healthcare Group seeks a Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a bank basis. The role covers Royal Park, Jubilee Court and Elizabeth Court with five hours per week. You will assess, diagnose and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders, collaborating with other professionals to tailor treatment plans for each patient.

HCPC registration is required. You will use evidence-based techniques, manage caseloads, and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Proficient in speech therapy practices and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech production.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
• Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support care goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards.
