As a Senior Care Assistant at our client's care home, you’ll look after the different needs of our client's residents to enable the delivery of quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. Like everyone here, as a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll always respect the dignity and preferences of our client's residents and play your part in creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. We also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We’re looking for warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed individuals who provide personalized care and support to each resident. You’ll have opportunities for career development through ongoing training, with no limit to how far you can progress. Many of our Senior Care Assistants advance into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.

This is a Bank position, providing cover as needed, such as for annual or sick leave. Therefore, hours and days you work will vary.
