Job summary

Jersey Hospice Care is seeking Bank Retail Assistants to join our Retail Team. You will greet customers, respond to queries and help shoppers with purchases, while supporting donations intake and stock replenishment.

Join our team and contribute to keeping our charity shops welcoming and well-stocked, working with colleagues and volunteers under the guidance of the Line and Duty Manager.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and ability to greet customers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond to customer queries and assist shoppers

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of Jersey Hospice Care’s retail fundraising shops
• Receive donations and replenish stock
• Maintain shop floor in line with shop standards
• Deliver other retail activities as assigned by Line/Duty Manager

Job description

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for Bank Retail Assistants to join our Retail Team.

The post holder will work with colleagues and volunteers to assist with the operation of Jersey Hospice Care’s retail fundraising shops.

The post holder is required to greet customers, respond to customer queries, and assist shoppers in purchasing goods. Other duties include receiving donations, replenishment of stock and maintaining the shop floor in line with shop standards. They will also be responsible for the delivery of other retail activities as assigned by the Line and or Duty Manager.
