Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse to join our team in the UK. This role involves mentoring and supporting care staff to ensure residents' clinical needs are met with high-quality care. You should have a valid NMC pin and be eligible to work in the UK.

We offer competitive hourly pay, a refer-a-friend scheme, fully funded training up to QCF level 5, a company pension, and on-demand pay options. Prior care home experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 12 months right to work in the UK
• Valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD
• Care home experience preferable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their individual care plans
• Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and residents to ensure care provision meets individual requirements and making recommendations based on changes in care need
• Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy
• Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and updating nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements
• Monitoring residents for risks around pressure wounds and any abnormalities regarding toilet output
• Participating in and promoting resident activities
