Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its bank roster across its care homes in the United Kingdom. You will deliver patient-centred nursing care, supervise and mentor care staff, and coordinate with the wider team to meet each resident’s clinical needs.

The successful candidate will hold a valid NMC pin, have at least 12 months of right to work in the UK, and provide evidence of CPD. Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends, with shifts from 20:00 to 08:00, is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of right to work in the UK
• An in-date NMC pin without restrictions
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD
• Experience in a healthcare setting is essential; newly qualified nurses will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their individual care plans
• Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and the resident themselves
• Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy
• Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and updating plans as needed
• Monitoring residents for risks around pressure ulcers and changes in toilet output
• Participating in and promoting resident activities
