Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse to join our care team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, mentoring staff, and ensuring residents’ clinical needs are met in a dynamic home environment.

The role requires a valid NMC pin, CPD participation, and 12 months of UK work-right. Bank staff enjoy flexible hours, ongoing training, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• A valid, in date NMC pin without restrictions to practice.
• Evidence of recent clinical CPD.
• Experience working in a care home setting is preferable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care according to individual care plans.
• Liaising with care home management, family, social workers and medical professionals to meet residents' requirements.
• Administering and recording medication safely in line with policy.
• Monitor resident nutrition and hydration and update plans as needed.
• Monitor risks around pressure ulcers and toilet output.
• Participating in, and promoting resident activities.
