Cherrybrook care home, split into two specialist units, provides expert support for individuals with complex mental health needs, dementia, and challenging behaviours. Your Role as a Registered Nurse:

  • Deliver Expert Complex Care – Utilise your clinical skills in tracheostomy management, catheterisation, and PEG feeding to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Lead and Support – Supervise and guide your care team to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Create Personalised Care Plans – Work closely with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor care plans to individual needs.
  • Ensure Accurate Documentation – Maintain precise and legally compliant records of all care interactions.
  • Administer Medications Safely – Follow MAR protocols to ensure the correct and timely administration of medications.
  • Advocate for Residents – Promote dignity, independence, and engagement in daily activities.
  • Emergency Response – Act swiftly and effectively in urgent situations, ensuring resident safety at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Experience in Complex Care – A minimum of 2–3 years working with tracheostomies, catheterisation, and PEG feeding.
  • Passion for Mental Health & Dementia Care – Experience or interest in supporting individuals with complex mental health conditions, dementia, and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong Communication & Leadership Skills – Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and care teams.
  • Commitment to Excellence – A dedication to providing outstanding care and continually improving service delivery.

Consistent Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: 3 shifts (8am – 8pm)
  • Week 2: 4 shifts (8am – 8pm)
