Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS foundation Trust is seeking a Bank Recruitment Lead to oversee the recruitment of Bank workers, ensuring processes align with Trust and national guidelines. The role includes managing adverts, social media accounts, and recruitment events, and supporting ESR pay registrations.

The post-holder will train and support Bank Coordinators, provide guidance on DBS/risk assessments, and ensure GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Bank lead for all Bank worker recruitment and fast track processes.
• Ensure Bank recruitment is undertaken in accordance with Trust and national guidelines and procedures.
• Act as a point of contact for Bank adverts and manage Bank recruitment social media accounts.
• Manage recruitment open days for Bank workers, arranging panels and checking/ signing of timesheets.
• Ensure Bank workers are registered on the Bank system and hired correctly in ESR for pay.
• Provide training and support to Bank Co-ordinators to hire and terminate efficiently.
• Offer specialist advice on joining the Trust Bank via various routes, including fast track and advertised roles.
• Keep applicants and managers informed about agency fees or notice periods as relevant.
• Support applicants through DBS risk assessments or right to work checks while ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Handle sensitive information and generate reports to identify recruitment gaps and risks.
• Assist with access to systems, IT accounts, uniforms and training before first shift.
• Coordinate induction and mandatory training with the Compliance Team and escalate gaps when needed.
• Develop positive relationships with Divisional management, HR Partners and Recruitment to improve recruitment and retention.
• Identify delays in recruitment and work with the Bank team to develop solutions.
