Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board is recruiting for a Bank Porter Assistant to support Hotel Services at Llandrindod Wells and surrounding sites. You will carry out porter and housekeeping duties, ensuring efficient logistics and flexible cover across weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

We value reliability, good communication, and a willingness to learn. Welsh language development is encouraged with training; adherence to Health and Safety policies is required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Willingness to develop Welsh language skills with training as needed.
• Literacy and numeracy at L1 or higher; Level 2 NVQ in cleaning services or equivalent; Level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• The Porter Assistant provides porter and housekeeping duties to support Hotel Services and other departments.
• Supports wider Hotel Services Team with tasks such as catering or cleaning as directed.
• Adapts to changing priorities and works flexibly across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
