Job summary

Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking a Porter Assistant (Band 2) on a bank, zero-hour basis to cover weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and evenings. Salary is £26,300 pro rata, with flexible working patterns and support for Welsh language development.

The role involves lifting, moving and assisting clinical and service teams across Powys sites in Llandrindod Wells, Bronllys and Brecon. You will work under the Hotel Services Supervisor, providing logistical support and occasionally supporting

Qualifications

• Literacy and Numeracy L1 or equivalent.
• Level 2 NVQ in cleaning services or equivalent; willingness to participate in further training.
• Level 2 in numeracy and literacy or equivalent; willingness to participate in further training.

Responsibilities

• The Porter Assistant is responsible to the Hotel Services Supervisor to undertake a range of porter and housekeeping duties, with the aim to provide logistical support to the Hotel Services and other departments.
• Periodically support the wider Hotel Services Team as directed, e.g. catering or cleaning tasks.
