Job summary

Sulis Hospital Bath is seeking a Pharmacy professional to join its Medicines Management team in Bath. You will contribute to prescribing, dispensing, risk management, governance, and supply, while supporting training and clinical auditing.

The role works with a small pharmacy team including a Lead Pharmacist, a Clinical Pharmacist and a Pharmacy Technician. DBS clearance will be required, and bank shifts Mon–Fri offer flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Medicines Management duties including prescribing, dispensing, risk and governance.
• Involvement in training, clinical auditing and continuous service improvement.

• Contribute to the hospital pharmacy service across inpatients and outpatients.

Pharmacy services are currently provided by a Lead Pharmacist, a second Clinical Pharmacist and a Pharmacy Technician. The scope of their combined responsibilities covers all aspects of Medicines Management (Prescribing, dispensing, risk, governance, ordering and supply) as well as the provision of training, continuous improvement, clinical auditing and ensuring that the performance of the service is to the highest standard.
