Job summary

Monkey Puzzle Lightwater is seeking a Bank Nursery Assistant to join our caring team on a part-time basis. You will help maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children and support daily nursery operations.

Experience isn't essential, but a Level 3 Early Years qualification and safeguarding knowledge are preferred. You will collaborate with staff, parents, and partners to support outstanding childcare.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Paediatric First Aid certification preferred.
• Basic safeguarding knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Support all nursery staff to help deliver outstanding childcare.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children with safeguarding knowledge.
• Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Report concerns to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Partner with parents and associates to help children thrive.
• Maintain a happy, supportive nursery environment with a positive attitude.
