Job summary

Shockerwick House Bupa Care Home, Bath are seeking a Registered Nurse on a bank contract (days and nights). Salary £19.24–£21.19 per hour depending on experience, with full training and a supportive team.

We deliver person-centred care, support independence and honour choice for residents. You’ll lead care planning, oversee medication administration, mentor colleagues and ensure compliance with standards in a busy nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience delivering resident-centred care in a care home setting.
• Ability to lead and support care staff and liaise with families.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for residents’ physical, emotional and social needs.
• Coach and guide the care team with formal and informal teaching.
• Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Monitor areas for safety and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
