Minibus drivers play their part in the successful day to day running of our service.**What we’re looking for:**The role of minibus driver is a physical role as you will be removing/ replacing seats in the minibus to accommodate wheelchair users. The driver will be responsible for securing wheelchairs, risk assessments for trips, vehicle safety and minor vehicle maintenance, planning and organising your own trips, also basic knowledge of health & safety/fire is essential and basic computer skills. When there is no driving required, you will be expected to help the on-site concierge with their tasks. Keeping the team informed of events and incidents is crucial – we’ll be looking for clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to act promptly and effectively in an emergency.Due to the nature of the services we provide at St Monica Trust, we will also be looking for an understanding of older people’s needs.
