We are currently recruiting for Bank Kitchen Assistants with previous experience working in a catering, kitchen, or hospitality environment who can cover flexible ad hoc shifts as needed for annual leave, sickness, training, etc., at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking Bank Kitchen Assistants to cover morning shifts (07:30 am to 3:30 pm) across a 7-day rota (Monday to Sunday). You will assist the Chef in maintaining hygienic, clean, tidy, and safe catering areas, and support all relevant aspects of the catering operation as required.

In this role you'll:

• Prepare, cook, and serve food safely
• Promote and uphold the good reputation of the hospital, maintaining a positive attitude towards clients, their families, staff, visitors, and others
• Wash up after meals and be responsible for cleaning the kitchen and dining areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with statutory Health and Safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas

We're looking for people who have:

• Previous catering experience
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Training
• Experience working in a care or hospital environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
• Good personal hygiene standards
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
