As our kitchen assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day–to–day operations of our care home's kitchen.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the Chefs in the planning and provision of high–quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents
• Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements
• Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and safe methods of work are always used
• Manage all stocks and stores ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place
• Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements such as fridge temperature checks
