As our kitchen assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day–to–day operations of our care home's kitchen.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting the Chefs in the planning and provision of high–quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents
- Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements
- Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and safe methods of work are always used
- Manage all stocks and stores ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place
- Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements such as fridge temperature checks

About You:
- Proven experience working in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or similar environment.
- Committed to customer care and first–class service provision
- Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
- Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
- Ability to multi–task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast–paced environment
